Warranty Policy

 

IMPORTANT 

NARWAL INDIA (“We”, “Us”, “Our”) offers the following limited warranty. This policy does not affect your statutory consumer rights under applicable laws. 

This Warranty applies only to Our products (the “Product”) purchased directly from Us or from an authorised distributor or retailer, for personal use (not for commercial resale). The Warranty is valid only in the country/region where the Product was originally purchased. 

Any updates to this Policy will be posted on our website, and we encourage you to review it periodically. In the event of any inconsistency between this Policy and other documents included with the Product, this Policy shall govern. 


1. Warranty Period 

We warrant that each Product you purchase will be free from material and workmanship defects under normal use in accordance with our published guidelines (including user manuals, specifications, service communications) from the date of delivery until the end of the Warranty Period. 

  • Products purchased in India will have a warranty period of [1 year]. 

  

2. How to Obtain Warranty Service 

If a defect arises during the Warranty Period, please contact us at services@narwalindia.com or call us on 079-69595000 with: 

  • the Product serial number 
  • the original purchase invoice or receipt, showing date of purchase and details of the Product 
  • a description of the defect and how it occurred 

If you did not purchase the Product directly from us, please contact your local seller first. 

  

3. What We Will Do 

Upon verification and acceptance of a valid warranty claim, we will, at our option: 

  • repair the Product using new or refurbished parts, or 
  • exchange the Product with a new or refurbished product that is at least functionally equivalent to the original, or 
  • replace the Product with a new product of equivalent or upgraded model (at our discretion). 

Shipping to and from our authorised service centre (within the country/region of purchase) is included only if the Product was originally purchased and registered in that same country/region. 

Parts repaired or replaced during the Warranty Period will be covered only for the remainder of the original warranty period. The Warranty Period is not extended or renewed by replacement or repair unless required by local law. 

  

4. What’s Not Covered 

This Warranty does not cover the following: 

a) Normal wear and tear (including wear of batteries) 

b) Expiry of the Warranty Period 

c) Products whose serial number has been removed, erased, altered or is illegible 

d) Failure or damage caused by non-compliance with product instructions, accident, misuse, negligence, fire, water, lightning, or other acts of nature 

e) External causes beyond our control (e.g., power fluctuations, network issues) 

f) Use of spare parts or consumables not provided or recommended by us 

g) Alteration or modification of the Product by you or a third-party not authorised by us 

h) Inadequate packaging for transportation, causing damage 

i) Products purchased from unauthorised distributors or retailers 

j) Use of the Product for commercial purposes (if the warranty is for personal use only) 

  

5. Limitation of Liability 

This Warranty is your sole and exclusive remedy against us and our sole liability in respect of any defect in the Product. 

All implied warranties (including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose or merchantability) are excluded to the maximum extent permitted by law. 

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, special, incidental or consequential losses or damages (such as loss of profit, loss of use, data corruption, business loss). 

Where permitted by law, our liability is limited to the purchase value of the Product. 

These limitations shall not apply to the extent of any liability we have for death or personal injury resulting from our proven negligence, or any other liability which cannot be excluded by law. 


6. General 

  • This Warranty is offered in addition to any statutory rights you may have under the local consumer protection laws. 
  • You may need to return the Product or have us inspect it, at our discretion. 
  • Warranty service is available only in the country/region where the Product was originally purchased. Cross-border international warranty service may not be available unless required by local law. 
  • We may update this Policy from time to time; the version posted on our website at the time of purchase will apply.
